Libya Film Institute invites you to apply for an online training workshop titled: “Creative Documentary Filmmaking Workshop.”

? Workshop Overview:
This short workshop offers an introductory journey into the world of creative documentary filmmaking. Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of filmmaking across the three main stages: pre-production, production, and post-production, with a particular focus on developing and refining documentary ideas submitted by participants.

The workshop provides an opportunity to explore the power of visual storytelling and to understand how to build a coherent and impactful narrative through images and scenes. Participants will gain insight into directing, cinematography, and editing, while also exploring the creative and ethical dimensions of documentary filmmaking, along with an overview of audience presentation and screening strategies.

? This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in entering the field of documentary filmmaking and offers a comprehensive, accessible introduction.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Students and individuals interested in filmmaking from diverse backgrounds
• A strong interest in developing visual storytelling skills and creating films with social impact
• Aged between 18 and 35 years
• Previous experience in producing a short film

? This workshop is part of the “Khotwa 2” project, which aims to support a new generation of Libyan filmmakers and encourage positive social change through the power of cinema.
