Mastering Documentary Photography

Libya Film Institute invites you to participate in an online training workshop titled: “Documentary Photography Workshop.”

🎯 Workshop Objectives:

This introductory workshop is a deep dive into the world of documentary photography. It is designed to equip you with the fundamentals of visual thinking and the craft of building a cohesive photo essay from everyday scenes, with a core focus on cultivating your unique photographic voice.

Key focus areas:

  • Discover the power of visual storytelling.
  • Understand how to use photography to express social issues.
  • Learn the tools and techniques of documentary photography.
  • Explore the creative and ethical dimensions of the craft.

This workshop serves as a comprehensive, accessible entry point for those aspiring to professionalize their documentary practice.

  • Students and photography enthusiasts from all backgrounds.
  • A desire to develop visual narrative skills and produce images capable of creating social impact.
  • Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Previous experience in photography is required.
