Biography:
Malek Elmaghrebi is an independent director and photojournalist. he started his career as a field reporter, focusing on fundamental issues that affect the stability and unity of Libya.
He contributed to promoting stability in Libya through a United Nations Development Program project.
Malek’s experiences as a field journalist inspired him to produce many stories. His documentary film The Way of Return is one of his key achievements, The way of Return got selected to enter the official film competition of Africa Human Rights Film Festival in South Africa and was one of the Libyan screened films at Carthage Film Festival in Tunisia. The film was also officially selected for the Hollywood Arab Film Festival in 2022.
